At Park Primary we ensure that our creative curriculum is enriched through educational visits and workshops that are linked to the topic areas for each half term. We also have other special days and visitors that help us with our learning and understanding of the world around us. Here are some of them that we have been involved in.
Our pupils took part in many activities linked to this topic including building a castle from boxes, jousting and handling birds of prey.
World Book Day
This is always a success with staff and pupils choosing characters to dress up as and celebrating thier favourite books and stories throughout the day.
Fun in the sun (Water day)
We take every opportunity to promote wellbeing for both staff and pupils. This was very evident in our water day event in which we took full advantage of the lovely British summer weather.
Caythorpe Court residential trip 10 children attended the 3 day residential and participated in a whole host of activities.
OA and A activities
every week one of our class attends and outdoor activity, a different activity is offered every half term. This helps build confidence, improve teamwork and is an excellent social experience for all involved.
We are very fortunate to have Noise Academy working with us to deliver DJ sessions as part of our music curriculum. We are very much enjoying the sessions and the children are realising that a lot of concentration, timing and patience are needed to be an accomplished DJ.
