Welcome to Beech Class;
We have eight pupils, with Mrs Rimmington as class teacher, Miss Waterhouse, Farida and Mrs Shaw as Special Needs Teaching Assistants. Our aim is to provide high quality learning experiences for all pupils whilst promoting the positive ethos of the school. We personalise support for individuals, which extends their range of emotional, social and behavioural skills whilst achieving appropriate learning outcomes. We set constant, achievable personal and behavioural targets with pupils through providing a safe and stimulating environment for pupils, which creates a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Our classroom has desks for the children to work at but we also have lots of different areas of learning in the classroom, such as role play area, and a calm down and reading room. The children spend time working, usually with an adult, so that they can earn time choosing what to play.
During this half term we will be taking part in football coaching sessions (Tuesday AM) on a weekly basis delivered by Bradford City Coaching, as well as weekly swimming sessions (Wednesday AM) and cookery (also Friday AM)
We aim to plan for many exciting opportunities for the children throughout the year, to ensure they are stimulated and interested in what they are being taught during their time at Park Primary PRU.
Thank you for taking the time to read about our class.
