Willow class overview
In Willow Class you will find Mrs Wightman, class teacher, along with Mrs Garnett and Mrs Roberts and Mr Britain.
In our class we try to have lots of fun. Our learning is done through lots of practical, hands on activities, as well as lots of playing!
This way of learning keeps our children engaged and helps them to enjoy learning.
We get better at reading and writing by using the Read, Write Inc programme.
This academic year our topics will focus on the Wanderlust topic programme which follows the children's interests.
As well as all this, we have lots of opportunities for practical learning such as cooking, swimming and football.
We aim to make good use of the outdoor area this year, using it to support our learning and taking as many opportunities as we can to take our lessons outside.
We aim to plan for many exciting opportunities for the children throughout the year, to ensure they are stimulated and interested in what they are being taught during their time at Park Primary PRU.
This half term we will be focusing on the topic of Autumn. During this, we will look at seasonal changes during Autumn, Owls, Spiders, Mushrooms and Pumpkins.
Thank you for taking the time to read about our class.
